We interrupt our usual programming for a song of appreciation. (Borderline emo’ :P ) *Cues music*

“Somedays”

Somedays I face the day,
against my will.
Somehow, I know the way
leads further downhill.
Somedays I wonder,
how low I’ll go before I return.
How far it must scar, before I learn.
Somedays I face the day,
Only because it’s begun.
Somehow I always do,
as I’ve always done.
But listen, you give me breath to breath,
and guide me through
my somedays.
They’re sunny days
with you.

A response to a song by Daniel Gardner. If you don’t watch him, you should!

Oh, and the light is changing constantly because I’m sitting next to a window and it’s “partially cloudy” out today :)
Happy Easter!

Children’s music artist, Eric Herman, sings an incredibly cute song all about elephants… sort of… The video was created by his wife, Roseann, with the help of their 3 year-old daughter, Becca. The little girl in the song is Meghan from Amherst, NY, who was 6 at the time.

Eric’s CDs are available at his website - http://www.erichermanmusic.com/cds.html - and song downloads are available at all major digital sites (iTunes, etc.). This version of “The Elephant Song” is on Eric’s first CD, The Kid in the Mirror, and a new version featuring his daughters, Becca and Evee, is on Snail’s Pace.

The guitar TAB for this song is available here: http://www.erichermanmusic.com/elephanttab.pdf
